Biography

After a two-year trip to Hong Kong where she taught French and English, Sandra comes back to the University of Quebec in Montreal in 2005. As a final-year project, she directs the short film Un week-end à la campagne, which traveled around the world and won many prizes.

Since then, she directed other short films, among them, Poupée featuring Claude Legault and Bénédicte Décary, Une fois de plus, and a multidisciplinary project produced by La Place des arts called Cineparc.

Sandra directs music clips, publicities and web videos. She even directed a web serie about fashion called GLAM. She worked with Télé-Québec, Cirque du soleil, UQÀM, vtele.ca, and many more.

Sandra is presently working on two feature film scripts. In 2011, Aller Simple pour Hong Kong was granted a loan from Telefilm Canada for its development.

Her first documentary will be completed in 2013. It follows Eric Jean, Quat’sous’ theater director, in the making of his most recent theater piece.
