Biography
A graduate of L'Inis and a screenwriting instructor, Camille Trudel made her directorial debut with the short film Miette (2021, co-directed with Maude Bouchard), selected at the Regard and Raindance festivals. Her work as a screenwriter has also earned multiple awards: Brasier (2022), directed by Émilie Mannering, won Best Screenplay at Fantasia and Best Quebec Short Film at Les Percéïdes, while La femme nue (2014) had already won the Best Fiction prize at the Festival Chalon tout court in France and the Best Film award from the Bourse des Pionniers du cinéma du Québec.
