Synopsis
After the sudden death of her twin brother Hugo, felled by an epileptic seizure in the middle of the night, Marleen, a rising ASMR video artist, sinks into guilt over not having woken up in time to save him, and begins suffering terrifying episodes of sleep paralysis in which she senses her brother's threatening presence. This psychological thriller borrows the trappings of a haunting to explore the complexity of grief and trace the downward spiral of a young woman whose sanity is called into question at every turn, as she struggles to know whether Hugo has returned for revenge or whether something far more sinister is at work.
